The Next Chapter Book Club training workshops are an excellent venue for collaborating with various parent and sibling groups, special education departments, literacy projects, and advocacy organizations in your community. We encourage organizations that are planning a workshop to connect with these various local resources and work together to bring literacy learning, social connection, and community inclusion opportunities to adolescents and adults with disabilities in your community.

Next Chapter Book Clubs outside of Columbus, Ohio, are operated on a local level by organizations such as local or statewide service providers, disability advocacy organizations, or parent associations. Affiliates are responsible for recruitment, volounteer training, and overall program implementation on a local level.
NCBC program staff provides an on-site training workshop for organizations interested in participating in the program. The cost of this training workshop includes the following:
